Assembly show topics include:
- Isaac Newton's Circus (physics: forces, balance, motion)
- Reduce, Reuse, ReUNIcycle (environmental lessons)
- Why Did the Dinosaur Cross the Road? (fascinating dino facts)
- Storytelling (tales from around the world)
- Reading Celebrations (kick-off and culmination events)
Workshops and residencies feature hands-on learning for any age group,
from pre-school to college and beyond. Workshop and residency topics include:
- Circus Science: exploring physics through circus skills
- Circus Gymnasium: using circus skills in Physical education
- Team-building: developing community through play and problem-solving
- Trash-to-Treasure: turning garbage into art
- Dinosaur Dig: fossil fun for pre-school and primary grades
Week-long residencies may culminate in a school-wide performance in
which students demonstrate a variety of newly-acquired skills from unicycling to
stilt-walking.
Partial funding for our programs may be available through CT Commission on Culture and Tourism or the New England Foundation for the Arts. |
