Many of our regular assembly shows and workshops are suitable for or can be adapted for pre-school
children. However we have some programs specifically designed with pre-schoolers (and pre-school
budgets) in mind! These programs feature one performer and are geared for smaller group sizes (a
maximum of 25 children at a time). The programs combine storytelling, movement, and lots of playful
interaction.
Circus Fun for Little Ones
A Movement and Motor Skills Program
with Keith Hughes
Stories of the circus both real and imagined set the scene for this program, which emphasizes creative
movement through mime, balancing, and juggling games. Children have hands-on fun with unusual props
such as peacock feathers, giant noodles and juggling scarves.
Terrific Tales for Tots
A Literacy and Laughter Program
with M.J. Moriarty or Keith Hughes
This program features an assortment of traditional folk and fairy tales (some of which will be familiar to the
audience and others that are sure to be new), along with story songs and finger plays. New and unusual
vocabulary words are introduced and explored.
