Summer Place at the University of Hartford

Each summer since 1996, we have spent six weeks teaching acting, circus,
comedy and science classes at the University of Hartford’s Summer Place, an
outstanding day camp for children and teens.  Within three two-week sessions,
Summer Place offers an amazing array of academic and athletic activities from
cooking to karate, computers to lacrosse, ceramics to swimming, and rocketry
to yoga.

Connecticut Storytelling Center

The Connecticut Storytelling Center produces the Connecticut Storytelling
Festival, one of the state’s outstanding annual cultural events. The Center also
offers educational programs in schools and pre-schools, including storytelling
performances and workshops. We regularly participate in the Center’s Play-in-a-
Day program in which a team of performers and musicians spend a school day
with a class, helping students create and perform an original play based on a
traditional folktale.
